WellNow Urgent Care and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield reach a new contract

Syracuse, N.Y. — WellNow and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield agreed on a new contract Monday, ending a stalemate that has blocked Excellus members from in-network access to WellNow’s urgent care centers for the past 10 months.
The two companies announced Monday they have executed a new provider contract agreement. The deal means WellNow will rejoin the Excellus BlueCross BlueShield provider network on Nov. 15, giving Excellus members in-network access to WellNow’s centers again.
